Obituary of Bessie C Fisher

Bessie C. Fisher, 94 passed away peacefully on August 28, 2015 at Warren Haven Nursing home. She was born on June 25, 1921 in Belvidere NJ to the late Horace and Sarah Smith. Bessie lived most of her life in the warren county area. She graduated from Belvidere high school class of 1939. She worked as a clerk at the Hampton post office for more than 25 years. Her loving husband David T. Fisher Sr passed away in 1988. Bessie was a long time member of the Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church in Hampton. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling and she loved to dance. Bessie cherished her time spent with her family. She is survived by her sons David Thomas Fisher Jr and his wife Sally of Washington NJ; Scott Fisher and his fiancé Rhonda of California; a sister Virginia Richards of Belvidere NJ and a brother Richard Smith and wife Mary of South Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Tom, Bessie was preceded in death by a son Bruce Charles Fisher and a grandson Seth Daniel Fisher Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday September 3, 2015at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bessie's name to the church 142 Main St, Hampton, NJ 08827.
