Obituary of Louise E Nyland

Louise E Nyland, 93, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Clifton, NJ on September 29, 1921 to the late Fredrick & Elsa Richter. Louise is a graduate of Clifton High School, Class of 1939. She resided in Clifton for 50 years, prior to moving to Washington in 1971. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Washington. Louise was employed by Davis Electric, Curtis Wright Aeronautical and Ramabi Mukti Mission in Clinton, NJ prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Washington Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years, serving as Secretary and Chaplin. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. Louise was all about family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children, two sons, Martin Nyland Jr. and his wife Chris, Robert Nyland and his wife Karen and a daughter, Lois Hummer and her husband David. A brother, Raymond Richter and his wife Martha, 9 cherished grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Martin Sr. who passed in 1993. Brothers, George, Fritz, Julius and Ernest Richter. And a sister, Jeanette Richter. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday July 9, 2015 from 7:00- 9:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday July 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Belvidere Cemetery in Belvidere, NJ.
