Obituary of RoseAnn Penn

RoseAnn Penn, 69 of Washington NJ, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 in her home. RoseAnn was born on June 22, 1945 in Longford, Ireland to the late Lawrence and Rose Gray. Upon coming to the United States, RoseAnn lived in Brooklyn, NY and Jersey City, NJ. She married the love of her life Stanley Penn and moved to Washington, NJ where she resided for the past 36 years. RoseAnn worked as a sales associate for over 20 years at the Warren County Pharmacy where she was adored not only by her co-workers but all her customers. She was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Washington. RoseAnn enjoyed crafts and playing cards with family and friends. She especially loved flowers and gardening and would often be found planting and tending to her garden. Above all of her favorite past times, she loved spending time with her friends and family. She cherished every moment they were together. She was a kind woman and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children, a son, Stanley Jr. and his wife Wendy Hornich, daughters, Colleen Marie Penn and Sheila Penn Mattos and her husband George. Cherished grandchildren, Emma Marie and Matthew Ryan Hornich and Chase & Sienna Mattos, and a sister Margaret Royer. Predeceased: In addition to her parents, RoseAnn is predeceased by her devoted husband Stanley Penn Sr. who passed in 2005 Friends and family may call on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:00 AM with Fr, Blaise Baran officiating at St. Joseph Catholic Church 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Washington, NJ. Memorial donations may be made in RoseAnn's name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or the American Diabetes Association, 200 Cottontail Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home
