Obituary of Patricia A Gaydosh

Patricia A. Gaydosh 77, of Oxford Township, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2014, at home. Born on September 18, 1937 in Newark, NJ to the late Paul and Dorothy McGurty, Patricia was raised in Great Meadows, NJ and graduated from Hackettstown High School, Class of 1955. She earned a nursing degree from Orange Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. Patricia worked as a nurse for the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ, retiring in 2010. Earlier in her career, she was employed as a nurse for Little-Hill Alina Lodge in Blairstown, NJ. Patricia was a cultural woman with a wide array of interests. Remaining ever-current with trends in science and the arts, she enjoyed reading, gardening, bird-watching, theatre, and the Fellowship of Friends of Bill W.'s for over 35 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis Gaydosh, and a brother, James Paul McGurty. She is survived by two sisters; Susan Bell of Zionsville, PA and Joan Strand of Chambersburg, PA. Friends and family may call on Sunday October 12, 2014 from 3-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday October 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in Greenwich Township.
